The
Kettering Foundation
|
The Kettering Foundation required a project management system that would do more than just keep track of their work. They needed a system that would help "transmit the insights of the foundation to a new cadre of staff and associates."
|
|
This
project management suite helps the Foundation track their
"playbill" of research topics by linking project milestones,
contracts, and budgets. The entire suite is integrated
with the Foundation's Navision finance system via ODBC
to keep the budgets and payments for research contracts
in synch.
All
these features are presented in an interface that provides
a way for users to “ease into” the software without getting
lost. Users of different experience levels may have different
view of the same screens while a System Map along with
back and forward buttons keep users from getting lost.
