Fort Wayne Metals is a worldwide manufacturer of medical grade wire. They are an industry leader with a time honored record of innovation in the research and production of precision wire that is used daily in life-saving applications. Software we developed for their quality control department calculates the tensile strength of this wire and watches over the inspection and approval of every shipment. We also eliminated a redundancy that had plagued their inspection department for some time. Formerly inspectors were rewriting spool information up to 3 times per inspection. We were able to reduce this to one. Thus saving man-hours and reducing human error in this most critical department.
